Standard Procedure of IT security will protect your system from Virus and hackers, the best option to keep the security is to remove the admin privilege of your user login. This can be done by creating a new user called admin from the control panel by providing the administrative privilege. Once done, change your user privilege to standard user. This enable good control of your system not to get installed any application or software coming through email, chat, website, usb, file transfer etc.. This process is the 1st and best defence control of your system.

How to change Windows user account type using Control Panel

To change an account type using Control Panel, use these steps:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Click the Change account type option.
  3. Select the account that you want to modify.
  4. Click the Change the account type option.
  5. Select either Standard or Administrator depending on your requirements.
  6. Click the Change Account Type button.

After you complete the steps, the next time you sign in the account will be limited to the permissions allowed by the user group that you specified.
